As Citizens of Heaven, we look for God's solutions to be released in the World within the Global environs. We cry:
'"Be Still and know that He is God,

from a Global Perspective
Take up your Position
The first thing we need to do as we start to pray for events and issues from a global perspective is to position ourselves. We start - as with all prayer - from a knowledge that we are seated with Christ Jesus in heavenly places. We set aside our earthly perspectives and logic and seek to stand in the strategic Council of Heaven. We set aside our national and regional and cultural agendas. It's time to seek the Kingdom of God.
Listen to the heartbeat of God
Seeking the God's heart for a situation, crisis or global system helps keep us grounded in His will and protects us from human agendas. It is easy to be swayed by the political or cultural perspectives of our world but if we seek the heart of God He will lead us by His Spirit into truth and we will pray effectively.
Be Strategic
Ask the Holy Spirit for His strategic focus. The spiritual battle is not often fought on the same ground as those being discussed in the media. The Lord may direct you to pray for a place or issue that doesn't seem immediately related to the crisis you are looking at, but it will be the key to releasing His Kingdom purpose into the situation. In the Global environment many things are inter-related, much is hidden from sight within closed meetings or simply private conversations - but the Lord know it all and we will be more effective when we stand in His strategy.
Micah 4 v 2
“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.”
There is an open invitation for the leaders of the nations and Global gates to come to the Kingdom of God for solutions and wisdom. As many wrestle with the problems in our fallen world, they are genuinely seeking lasting answers. The Church is stepping into the gap. We need to seek God for His strategic response to the cry for help.
Micah 4 v 3
"He will judge between many peoples and will settle disputes for strong nations far and wide."
At the heart of global issues are roots or foundational causes. The Lord is the judge of all the earth, He knows the heart of every person and the origins of every act. These foundational roots need to be discerned and dealt with as we engage with the global issues we see manifesting in the earth.
Micah 4 v 13
“Rise and thresh, Daughter Zion, for I will give you horns of iron;
I will give you hooves of bronze, and you will break to pieces many nations.”
As the nations are in turmoil the Lord is seeking to bring people into the safety of His Kingdom. For many people groups this means being rescued from the ungodly alliances that have been formed that hinder the outworking of His will and purposes in the earth.
