Kingdom Finance from a Global Watchman perspective is not just about money but about the resources of people, time, energy, and money that undergird the expansion of the Kingdom of God in this earth. It is about more than what resource I have available for our own lives or ministries. The Lord holds the abundance of the earth in His hands, and we need to align with His righteous purposes for the whole of humanity as we seek and steward His provision.

As I have prayed into the sense of lack of provision in the Church globally, the Lord has challenged me on the following points that are blocking His provision in this season:

1. Fear of sharing - This is rooted in a fear of communal living (or communism to be blunt), of not having enough because others are using the same pool of resource.

2. Competition between churches / ministries for the 'pool of resource' within the Church community 

3. Corruption, theft & poor management of resource 

4. Demonic attack on finances & resources - a robbing spirit 

5. Dishonour (including of government taxation) and wrong honour & reliance for resource

6. Complicity - in oppression and criminality through our consumption, often in complete ignorance or due to perceived powerlessness.

These are not condemnations on the Church, but an invitation to consider our ways. This is not about trying to 'do the right thing' in order to release resource, but a recognition that in the global community our collective unrighteousness in these areas is hindering the blessings of God. In previous seasons we often did not experience the consequences of this unrighteousness as we are now. The seasons ahead will see a continuation of these consequences if we do not address the challenges that the Lord highlights to us.
