A Call to the Church in Haiti

An invitation for the Church in Haiti

“Be still and know that I am God” says the Lord of Hosts.  I am the One who causes wars and violence to cease.  The world will be amazed as they see my hand outstretched to silence the guns and destroy the knives.  My name will be glorified in you, Haiti, as your people look to me for help.

Haiti, I have not abandoned you and I did not watch over the forming of your nation only for you to be oppressed by the corruption of your leaders and the evil spiritual forces behind occult and mystic religions. You did not honour me as you fought for freedom, but I was there. I still am. All the earth belongs to me. I am not a God of manipulation and coercion but of power and of mercy.  The enemy has lied to you and told you that if you follow rituals and engage in witchcraft control you will have health and success.  You do not challenge the corruption of the leaders in your land because you would do the same if you had the power.  Repent of your manipulation and selfishness and let me show you a better way.

Do not look to the UN or other nations for aid or guidance but call on me and I will answer.  These are days of great sorrow and darkness for you, but my light will rise upon you.  My people, call on me and stand to see me fight for you.  Let your light shine before all people and you will see my mighty arm bared to perform wonderful deeds.  As you looked to me there will be miracles of protection, guns that jam, angelic forces hiding and shielding you. I will heal through you and multiply food and medicine if you will call on me in the day of trouble.

Arise!  Arise, my church, my bride, and demonstrate my goodness to the people around you.  Let your neighbours see the love I have for them and that my power is greater than any earthly or spiritual power they have relied on.  I have heard the cry, ‘only God can save us’ – and I will, if you will only call on me and stand in faith to see the salvation of your God.

I have called and formed you to be my jewel, reflecting my light to the nations around you.  I have called you to be a haven - not for those who would hide their wealth and bring a curse on you - but for those who would build business from righteous principles.  Your major ports will no longer be a route for drug smuggling but for godly commerce from South America as I raise up righteous business leaders in that continent.  The time is coming when I intend to shift the economic centres of the world and I have a strategic position for you to take in the new systems – if you will learn my ways and follow my Kingdom principles.

The nations around you may have sought to keep you cowed and in poverty, but I am turning aside their cursing and taking back for you the heritage I prepared for you.

Haiti, my beautiful one, prepare to take your place.  Throw away your petty gods and turn from your corrupt power struggles and turn your eyes to me.
