North Korea

A word for North Korea

(14th April 2023)

The Lord says “Time is up!” to Kim Jong Un and his regime.  The time of grace is gone.  You have squandered the season of grace by building your empire and power at the expense of those you were given to guide and govern.

And so, says the Lord, your empire will crumble and be destroyed by the very weapons you thought would protect you.

A shaking is coming to North Korea that will expose the false rulers and topple your self-reliance idolatry.  You will be shown to be only men.

The Gates will open up and reveal the terrible human cost of your regime.  The nations will be appalled.  My global Church will be shaken out of her apathetic regard of her persecuted brothers and sisters and will rise up with a righteous anger.  Prayers will rise to My throne for healing of the land of North Korea.

I see three events relating to weapons / launches:

One that fails publicly.

One that destroys its launch place.

One that hits another nation – most likely without intention.

There will be an earthquake that shakes the foundations of North Korea and topples the idols of self-reliance and the actual idols and images of the Kim family.

Following all this, the Lord will raise up leaders who have humility and integrity and they will lead North Korea into a new season of true community led society.  Those who have learned to trust God during the persecution will co-labour with the Holy Spirit in amazing miracles of healing and provision, and with wise strategies turn around the food shortages and health crisis in only a few years (maybe even months). The people will see this and turn their eyes to God.  As the written Word of God becomes freely available many who previously hated it will hunger to read it.  Those who had lived on the crumbs of smuggled bibles and remembered verses will eagerly study the Word and receive great insight and encouragement.

North Korea will become a light to the nations, protected for this next season by a God-imposed restraint on the national powers around them. The people of God will speak the truth and many will receive it.

The global community will watch in awe as North Korea is established as a centre of wisdom and teaching.  Where error has crept into the North Korean church because of isolation, the truth will quickly be embraced. In the new freedom the hard-earned lessons of the persecution will not be lost, as people give their whole lives in service to God and to one another. Training schools will quickly spring up, led by North Korean Christians as directed by the Holy Spirit.

The Lord will set a decree of “DO NOT TOUCH” over the whole of North Korea and the church will be set apart as holy. There will be serious consequences for any who try to manipulate God’s people and any seeds that are not from God will wither and die.
